Menlo Country Club’s 18-hole golf course is located in Woodside, California. While early attributions linked the design to A.W. Tillinghast, the original course was laid out in 1912 by Tom Nicoll. In 2014, golf course architect Kyle Phillips led a significant renovation that resulted in 14 new holes and a reworking of the remaining four. The updated design reflects modern standards of play while maintaining elements of the course’s early character.

The current layout measures approximately 6,800 yards and features bentgrass greens, strategic bunkering, and elevation changes across its wooded terrain. The course runs through natural features of the landscape, including mature oak trees and seasonal creeks, and offers a variety of hole designs to challenge different playing styles. Among the more recognized holes are the par-3 12th, which plays over a water hazard, and the par-5 7th, which requires accuracy due to fairway constraints and bunker placement.

The club includes practice facilities such as a driving range, putting greens, and a short game area. These areas support player development and warm-up routines. A pro shop, locker rooms, and clubhouse dining are available to members as part of the golf experience. Access to Menlo Country Club’s course and facilities is limited to members and their guests.
