How to Join Friendly Hills

The application process for becoming a Regular member of Friendly Hills Country Club is as follows:

1. Expression of Interest: After receiving an expression of interest from a prospective member, the Club’s General Manager provides the prospective member with an informational questionnaire.
2. Initial Interview: Once the questionnaire is completed, it is referred to a member of the Club’s Membership Committee. An informal interview with a member of the Membership Committee is then scheduled.
3. Membership Application: Following the interview, a prospective member may be provided with a membership application along with complete instructions and requirements. The Membership Committee assists the prospective member in identifying the required sponsor (Proposer and Seconder) who will bear the principal responsibility of completing the application and all other requirements.
4. Formal Interview: After the application is completed, a more formal interview with the Membership Committee is scheduled. The Membership Committee conducts a series of personal interviews with the proposed applicant, as well as the Proposer and Seconder.
5. Approval: All prospective members are presented to the Club’s Board of Directors for final approval. The Club’s Board of Directors makes all final decisions on membership applicants based on the recommendations of the Membership Committee.
6. Submission of Application: A cashier’s check is required when the application is submitted. A picture of the applicant and family is also requested at this stage. This picture will be used in the Club newsletter only if the applicant approves.

Please note that to become a member, an applicant must be 21 years of age or older, must successfully complete the membership acceptance application and interview process, and must be approved by the Club’s Board of Directors. The entire application process can generally be concluded within 90 days.
