Founded in 1914, Albuquerque Country Club is one of the city’s oldest private clubs, offering golf, tennis, swimming, and dining near Old Town Albuquerque. The club’s 18-hole golf course provides a traditional parkland-style layout, standing out in a region known for desert courses.

The course measures 6,539 yards from the back tees with a par of 72, featuring tree-lined fairways, contoured greens, and strategic bunkering. Unlike many courses in the Southwest, it offers lush, walkable terrain with minimal elevation changes. The signature hole, the par-4 9th, presents a dogleg left with bunkers protecting the landing area and green, requiring accuracy off the tee. The greens are known for their subtle breaks, making putting a key challenge. With a mix of short and long par 4s, scorable par 5s, and precise par 3s, the layout balances playability and strategy, appealing to golfers of all skill levels.
